That’s why we take so much pride in our relaxing office and state-of-the-art facility! We’ve been serving Jeffersonville for decades, and we’re excited to share with you how we’re planning to continue to improve our office in the near future. Our Humble Beginnings
Limestone Dentistry was founded by Dr. Bruce Mater in the early 1980s. After decades of lovingly serving Jeffersonville and the surrounding communities, he retired in 2020. When Dr. Eric Thornton acquired the practice from Dr. Mater, all the original staff members chose to stay as well!
The Current Building & Our Internal Updates
Our current building has served us well over the years. However, the world changes fast! There have been numerous strides made in the dental healthcare field, and we aim to stay at the forefront of all of it to ensure we provide the best care possible! Over the past four years, we have worked tirelessly to transition from paper records to computer cloud-based records. We have invested in digital X-ray technology and even brought in a CBCT scanner to assist in dental implant placement.
Details of the Remodeling Process
Alongside our internal updates, we are excited to announce our practice will be moving to a brand-new building! No worries about the location, as it is right across the street from our current location!
This building used to be a carwash facility, but through renovation is being constructed to house the future of Limestone Dentistry. We’re working alongside local contractors and Patterson Dental to create a floor plan that is optimal for our disabled patients, children, and adults. We plan on doubling our current space to make these accommodations.
Rest assured that while our space is changing, the quality care you’ve come to expect from us will not! We will continue to schedule ample time for each of our patients, coordinate insurance benefits, and promote a relaxing, family-focused atmosphere.
Current Progress
We are on schedule to complete construction in September 2024. In the meantime, we are open for business at our current office at 2948 E. 10th St, Suite A in Jeffersonville, IN.
