One of the best parts of Dr. Thornton’s work is that he gets the opportunity to help patients of a wide range of ages. Being able to meet different people while making a major difference in their lives is incredibly fulfilling, and he always looks forward to helping someone maintain their pearly whites. Ever since he was a kid, he had a passion for science. It was after he worked at a chemical lab for a year that he recognized his desire to pursue a more hands-on career. Due to being a people person, he knew that dentistry would be the perfect fit for him, and he’s never looked back since!

Dr. Thornton first began his career by going to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to major in biology-chemistry. Afterward, he went on to study at the University of Louisville to earn his dental doctorate. Graduating from dental school, he set out to work as an associate at two dental offices, which allowed him to gain further experience in dentistry before taking over at his current practice. He’s extremely committed to continuing education and has also undergone advanced training courses in various areas, including dental implants and oral surgery.

Whenever he isn’t at the office, Dr. Thornton typically spends his time with his wife—whom he met during dental school—and their son. Aside from being with friends and family, he also enjoys things like woodworking, cooking, golfing, enjoying outdoor activities, and simply living an active lifestyle.
