Office Policies – Jeffersonville, IN

Welcome to Our Practice!

Dr. Eric Thornton and the rest of our talented staff here at Limestone Dentistry are happy to welcome you to our office! Our mission is to provide high-quality dental care in the most gentle, efficient, and enjoyable way possible. If you ever have any questions about your dental care, from the treatments themselves to scheduling your appointment or anything in between, please don’t hesitate to contact us! Below, you’ll find some important office policies we have in place to ensure your visit goes smoothly.

Appointments

At Limestone Dentistry, we value your time. That’s why we encourage patients to arrive at their appointments 10-15 minutes early. This gives you plenty of time to complete the check-in process and fill out any needed information. For your convenience, you can download and fill out your new patient or established patient forms at home and bring them into your appointment to speed up this process.

Cancellations & No-Show Policy

Two business days before your appointment, we will call you in order to confirm, cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, we realize that unexpected circumstances and unforeseen issues can sometimes interrupt our patients’ schedules.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, that will count as a “cancellation”. Failing to appear for your appointment without any communication beforehand will be recorded as a “no-show”. After three cancellations or no-shows, a $50 re-appointment fee will be charged, which can be applied to any future treatments. However, this deposit will be lost should a fourth cancellation or no-show occur.

Late Arrival Policy

We request that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to your scheduled appointments. If you are running late, we offer a grace period of 10 minutes for unforeseen delays. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will do our best to keep your appointment time, but please be aware that we may need to reschedule instead.

Payment Options

In addition to accepting dental insurance, we accept payment via cash, check,or credit card.

Insurance

When you provide us with your dental insurance plan information, we will do everything in our power to make sure your coverage is being utilized. We also process and file claims as a courtesy. However, please keep in mind that as your dental provider, our relationship is with you and not your insurance company. You will ultimately be responsible for all charges that your insurance company doesn’t pay.

We will always strive to provide an estimate of cost before any treatments are performed. Please be aware that we will do everything we can to ensure your estimate is as accurate as possible, but our estimates are not guarantees that your insurance company will pay the specified amount.

You will be responsible for paying your portion for service at the time treatment is rendered. This will include deductibles, co-insurance, co-payments and procedures that are not covered by your insurance policy. If you have any questions about your dental insurance coverage, please call our office to speak with a staff member.

Dental Emergencies

If you or a loved one experiences a dental emergency, do not hesitate to give us a call right away! We attempt to see emergency patients as quickly as possible. If you are unsure if you’re experiencing a true dental emergency, please contact us anyways. One of our experienced team members will help you determine how urgently you need to be seen.
