Abbey – Dental Hygienist
Abbey started working in the dental field when she was only 14 years old, and she’s been a dental hygienist since 2017. She is proud to be a graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and a minor in psychology.
Outside of the dental office, Abbey and her husband Dr. Thornton welcomed their son in October of 2021. They additionally have an Australian Shepard named Tula who they regularly take on hikes. As for hobbies, she’s a big bookworm. She’s even part of a book club! She also loves traveling and hopes to venture out to the West Coast more in the future.
Anne Marie – Dental Hygienist
Anne Marie’s career in the dental field spans 20+ years so far! A graduate of the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene, one of her favorite things about this job is having such a positive, friendly atmosphere to work in so that she can focus on providing the best care possible to patients in need.
Anne Marie and her husband John have countless nieces, nephews, and grand nieces/nephews who keep them busy. Outside of the dental office, she also enjoys traveling, curling up with a good book, or painting/decorating her home.
Olivia – Dental Hygienist
Olivia has been a part of the dental field for almost 20 years now, and there's nothing she enjoys more than creating ongoing relationships with her patients. She never lectures but instead aims to educate with an understanding and compassion that's specifically designed to fit each unique person's needs! She studied at the University of Louisville and was recently awarded the Readers Choice Award for Best Dental Hygienist by the News and Tribune!
Outside of the dental office, Olivia is proud to have a wonderful partner named Carrie and a small crew of mini-humans. Besides raising children, some of her favorite hobbies include going to flea markets, dancing, reading, eating snacks like Twizzlers and popcorn, and doing projects around the house. She always loves being able to use her creativity to make something more beautiful.
Jeri – Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Jeri has been a member of our dental home for over 15 years now. She studied at the Indiana School of Dentistry. Today, what she enjoys most about her role is being able to help patients feel comfortable and happy!
At home, Jeri and her husband Jason have twin sons who have given her a total of 5 grandchildren! Outside of working hours, you can typically find her canning, fishing, hiking, or reading a good book with her two German Shepherds, Ruby and Moze, always by her side.
Dawn – Patient Care Coordinator
<Dawn’s career in the dental world spans over five years. She attended Indiana University for her education. What she enjoys most about her job is an easy answer – the patients!
Dawn’s family consists of her adult son Jacob, and her dog Layla. In her spare time away from work, she enjoys traveling and being crafty. In particular, she’s quite talented at making beautiful flower arrangements and wreaths.
